Our family reads, cooks and hikes, and reads some more. I met my wife in a ceramics class at the University of Minnesota where I enjoyed throwing clay at her. After school we moved to New Mexico. It was beautiful there. We live in California now where I teach, paint, write, cook, hike and repeat, repeat, repeat : )

My work is important, but so are the people I make it for.
